The clubhouse-LIVE ONLINE CLASSES

This is exclusively for former clients who want to get something done at home or on their own at the gym.

Clubhouse classes are strength or functional training workouts. You can do them with me or watch the recording via Zoom. This program is designed to build strength safely and functionally. I will always offer options and variations.

One thing I don’t love about many group fitness classes is that they make you sweaty and tired. Still, you’re not doing “progressive overload” when you gradually increase your strength training routine's weight, frequency, or number of repetitions. This challenges your body and strengthens your musculoskeletal system (if that is your goal). You can also perform these workouts weekly and stick with what is comfortable!

These sessions can be paired with your favorite boot camp, spin, yoga, or other activities.

With most HIIT workouts, always performing strength exercises for fast-timed periods means you may at some point plateau (or potentially get injured) because you’re unable to SLOW DOWN and get into your body. This can also short-change your end range of motion on a particular exercise and not allow for any re-patterning in movement.

Clubhouse Workouts are limited to 10 people per workout to let me assess proper form and coach and are on a 6-8 week periodization block. Periodization training deliberately manipulates training variables to optimize performance, prevent overtraining, and improve performance. Variable adjustments in duration, load, or volume are planned over a specific period to achieve these objectives.

    During Live Sessions:

    • Visual form checks where I demonstrate proper positioning and then observe you

    • Real-time verbal cues tailored to common issues I’m seeing

    • Opportunity for you to ask specific questions about form challenges you’re experiencing

    • Option for volunteers to receive more focused attention ("(Name), would you mind if I use you as an example to demonstrate this adjustment?")

    Beyond Live Sessions:

    • Periodic form assessment opportunities where you can submit short videos of yourself performing specific movements for my review

    • Brief personalized feedback notes sent via email with 1-2 key adjustments for you to focus on

    • Option for you to schedule a quick 5-10 minute one-on-one video check-in if you’re struggling with a particular movement

    • Follow-up resources (short videos, diagrams) addressing common form issues I observe in the group


      Once we get into strength training, the suggested equipment usually includes a light and heavy set of weights and/or long and short bands, a mat, and a TRX or pull-up bar (no worries if you don’t have this; we can use a long band over a door).
