You stretch every day. You've tried yoga, foam rolling, and ergonomic chairs. You've spent money on massage and chiropractic care.

But the tightness keeps coming back.

That means three out of four times, you're using the incorrect approach. Sometimes makes it feel better. Sometimes, it makes it worse.

You've never been taught that there are four completely different types of tightness—and only one of them responds to stretching.

This free workshop helps you identify your type and discover what actually works for your body.

What You'll Learn in 60 Minutes

  • The four types of tightness and how to tell which one you're dealing with

  • When stretching helps and when it doesn't (this alone could save you hours)

  • Why your body feels the way it does and what it's trying to tell you

  • A simple self-assessment you can do at home to understand your starting point

  • What to do instead when stretching isn't the answer

This Workshop Is For You If...

  • You've been stretching regularly, but still feel tight

  • You've tried PT, chiropractic, or massage without lasting results

  • You're tired of managing symptoms instead of understanding causes

  • You're between 30 and 70 and noticing your body doesn't bounce back from injuries like it used to

  • You want to understand what your body actually needs

This workshop isn't for you if you're looking for a quick fix. This is about understanding your body, not finding a magic bullet.

Why This Approach Is Different

Most approaches focus on where it hurts. That makes sense—until you understand that pain shows up in one place because something else isn't working correctly.

Your tight hamstrings might not be a problem with your hamstrings.
Your achy back might not be a back problem.
Your stiff neck might not be a neck problem.

This workshop teaches you to see your body as a system. When one part isn't moving well, other parts compensate. That's what creates the tightness you feel.

How this is different from:

  • PT: Often focuses on the painful area, not always the root cause

  • Chiropractic: Provides relief, but doesn't retrain movement patterns

  • Massage: Feels good, but doesn't change how you move

  • Yoga/Stretching: One approach for everyone, regardless of individual needs

You're not broken. You're compensating. And compensation patterns can be understood and addressed.

YES, I WANT TO UNDERSTAND MY BODY

Your Questions Answered

  • No. You'll learn real information you can use immediately. At the end, I'll mention how to work with me if you're interested, but that's it. I believe everyone deserves to understand their body better, whether you become a client or not.

  • All movements are optional. Camera off is completely fine. This is about learning concepts, not proving your flexibility.

  • Everyone who registers gets the replay.

  • The concepts work regardless of your starting point. Whether you've never addressed this or you've tried everything, you'll gain new insight.

  • No cameras required. No performance. Just you learning about your body in private.

About Laura Thomas

Most people think pain and injury only come from trauma or impact. But, the truth is that your body can break down from years of moving in ways it wasn't designed to move.

I learned this the hard way myself when my neck pain would never go away permanently—the accumulated result of non-optimal alignment finally catching up with me.

That's when I stopped chasing quick fixes and started learning about structural alignment. Not just "sit up straight," but how the body is actually designed to move and what happens when it doesn't.

I am stronger in my 40s than I was in my 20s. And now I teach women and folks who are tired of being told their pain is "just aging" when it's actually about patterns that can be changed.

Trained in: Personal Training, Yoga, Structural Alignment, Trauma-Informed Coaching, Pre/Postnatal Fitness

My approach: I don't focus on how you look. I focus on how you function. I start with alignment before adding load. I believe your body is adaptive, not broken—no matter your age, size, or fitness level.

Why This Is Free

I'm tired of watching capable women and folks accept pain and limitation as normal aging. It's not.

Additionally, those who derive the most benefit from working with me understand the approach first. This workshop helps us determine if we're a good fit for each other.
