VITALITY

4 Month 1:1 Coaching

Build strength. Trust your body. Feel like yourself again.

Your fitness should fit YOUR life.

Not the other way around.

Most workout programs expect you to change everything. Your schedule. Your routine. Your whole life.

But you're already juggling work, family, and a million other things. You don't need another program that adds stress.

You need something that actually works WITH your real life.

That's what Vitality is.

Vitality: Online/Hybrid Coaching Program

For women and folks seeking personalized fitness to fit their unique body, needs, & goals, so they can pursue the best version of themselves with a supportive partner by their side every step of the way.

You might be here because...

You're tired of your body feeling like it's working against you.

Maybe you've caught yourself saying "I can't do that anymore" about things you used to love. And you're wondering if this has to be your reality.

Perhaps your back hurts after a long day. Or your knee bothers you when going up stairs. Or you feel stiff. Disconnected from your body.

You might have tried other programs that felt like they were made for someone else. Someone with more time. Someone whose body works differently from yours.

And you're wondering: Is there actually an approach that could work for ME?

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

Here's the truth about your body right now:

Your body is always changing. It's always adapting to how you move and what you do.

Right now, it's adapting to the patterns you have—the compensations, the limitations, the discomfort.

But here's the good news: Your body can adapt in a different direction. It can learn new patterns. It responds to the right kind of attention.

And that's exactly what we'll do together.

What Makes Vitality Different

Here's what I offer:

Someone who looks at how YOUR specific body moves.

Someone who finds the patterns that might be contributing to discomfort.

Someone who builds a plan for YOUR schedule, YOUR equipment, YOUR goals.

Someone who teaches you so much about your body that you can eventually make informed choices on your own.

My goal isn't to keep you in coaching forever. My goal is to teach you so well that you can eventually join any class, follow any program, or work out on your own—and know exactly how to adapt it for YOUR body.

Think of this as building a foundation. Once you have it, you can build anything on top of it.

How Vitality Works

We build your strength the right way. Step by step.

Most programs jump straight to hard workouts. That can work for some people.

If you're dealing with discomfort, compensation patterns, or feel like something's off, building on top of those patterns can reinforce them.

We start by understanding your foundation. Then we build from there.

MONTHS 1-2: Understanding Your Body First, we determine what's actually happening in YOUR body. Your body is brilliant—when one area isn't functioning optimally, other parts of your body compensate for the imbalance. We find those patterns, then work on creating new options.

By the end, you will experience less daily discomfort, moving will feel easier, and you will have a better understanding of your body.
MONTHS 2-3: Building Capacity Now that you're moving with better patterns, we build strength. Not gym strength—real-life strength. The kind that makes carrying groceries easier, getting up off the floor simpler, and gives you more energy throughout your day.

By the end: Noticeably stronger in daily tasks, proud of what your body can do, and more confident.
MONTHS 3-4: Making It Last The final phase involves applying everything you learned and making it work in your real life. We practice the movements you actually need. We build sustainable habits. We prepare you to continue on your own if you choose.

By the end: Doing activities you've been avoiding, trusting your body more, and feeling more like yourself.

Important note: This is a common trajectory, but YOUR path might look different. Some clients require more time on alignment work. Some progress faster. We adjust based on what YOUR body needs.

Important Dates

Applications close: December 12th

After that, I'm not taking new clients until my next program launch in late January/early February 2026.

Why the deadline? Because I limit the number of clients I work with. I won't be able to give you personal attention if I'm overextended.

Once I'm at capacity, that's it until next year.

Program starts: Week of January 4th (after the holidays)

First payment due: December 19th (9 bi-weekly payments total)

Program runs through early May

Your body is capable of more than you think.

We'll talk. You'll ask questions. I'll learn about what you're dealing with. We'll both decide if this feels right. No pressure. No hard sell. An honest conversation.

Step 3: Health History & Assessment

If you decide to move forward, I'll send you a health history form. Then we'll do a 90-minute movement assessment. I'll watch how your body moves. We'll find what needs attention.

Step 4: Start Your Program

Within a week, I'll send you your first custom program. You'll get new or adjusted workouts every 1-2 weeks. Daily support. Regular check-ins.

Here's my promise:

I'm not here to fix you. Your body isn't broken—it's adaptive and capable. I'm here to teach you so much about how YOUR body works that you can eventually make informed choices on your own.

Laura Thomas Fitness Coaching & Business Philosophy

Everyone can pursue their best version in a supportive and professional environment.

I have done and continue to do anti-racism work.

I am a trauma-informed coach through CULTIVATE, a trauma-informed space-holding certification program. This does not mean I dig, address, or heal trauma. It means I understand the complexities of trauma and have the skills to ensure I am attuned to my clients and myself so that I practice within my scope and integrity.

I value connection and communication with my clients. I take a human-first approach, getting to know my clients beyond their physical goals, while honoring their consent and personal boundaries.

I do not judge anyone’s capabilities based on age, race, body type, sexuality, or other personal identities.

I do not believe every workout must involve muscle soreness or sweat to be effective. Movement should never be painful or triggering.

I admit that I may not have all the answers regarding health, but I am always willing to go the extra mile to get information for my clients from my wellness circle partners (with permission to share their inquiries). I will refer out if something is beyond my scope of practice.

Movement/fitness is not a substitute for counseling. I will suggest therapy if you may hurt yourself or someone else.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Vitality packages start at $1,787 for a four-month coaching program. You may pay the fee in one installment or multiple installments, for example, broken up into a monthly payment plan of $397 or bi-weekly payments of $198.50.

  • Foundations (4 sessions/month) is ideal if you're building new movement patterns and need frequent guidance on habits and lifestyle integration alongside your workouts.

Building (3 sessions/month) works well if you're developing consistency but still benefit from regular coaching around habits and lifestyle changes.

Sustaining (2 sessions/month) is for clients with established habits who primarily need support with their movement practice.

It's essential to understand that the session frequency reflects the amount of live coaching time we have together, but you'll receive support throughout the entire month. Between sessions, you receive daily text support Monday through Friday, weekly email check-ins, custom programming written or adjusted every 1-2 weeks, video feedback on your form, and progress tracking. I'm also spending time outside our sessions reviewing your health history, analyzing your movement patterns, researching what will work best for YOUR body, and preparing your custom programs.

You're not paying for an hour of my time—you're investing in a comprehensive support system designed around you.

  • Yes. If you start with Foundations or Building and find you need less frequent live coaching as you progress, you can downgrade with one month's notice.

This is actually a sign of success—it means you're building the skills and confidence to need less hands-on guidance. My goal is to teach you so well that eventually you can make informed choices on your own.

However, I don't recommend downgrading in your first 2 months. That's when we're establishing your foundation, and consistent coaching.

  • I see clients Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day. During your discovery call, we'll discuss your schedule and find session times that work consistently for both of us.

  • Vitality works beautifully as a fully online program—you'll get custom workouts, video demos, daily support, and regular video check-ins no matter where you live.

If you're local to the Cleveland area, we can conduct your initial 90-minute Movement Assessment in person, and we also offer the option to meet in person for some or all of your ongoing sessions.

  • Great question!

Training focuses on the workouts—specifically, the exercises you do, the number of reps, and proper form.

Coaching goes deeper. It includes the training, but also addresses sleep, stress, habits, mindset, and why you want to feel better in your body. It's about building sustainable patterns, not just chasing short-term results.

I take a coaching approach because surface-level fixes don't last. If we only focus on workouts without understanding what's happening in the rest of our lives, we're missing the bigger picture.

My goal isn't to give you a 12-week transformation that disappears when life gets messy. It's to teach you so much about your body and build such solid habits that you can adapt what we create together to wherever life takes you.

  • I don't write rigid meal plans or restrictive diets—that's not how sustainable change happens.

Instead, I provide practical nutrition guidance that includes:

    • Simple portion strategies (no counting or tracking required)

    • Understanding how food affects your energy and performance

    • Meal prep and planning that fits your real life

    • Nutrition timing to support your workouts and recovery

My approach is flexible and adapts to where you are—whether you're just starting to build healthier habits or looking to optimize your performance.

Important note: I'm not a registered dietitian. If you need medical nutrition therapy or have complex dietary needs, I'll refer you to a specialist. Think of me as the "greatest hits of healthy eating," while a dietitian is the expert for more specialized nutritional concerns.

  • No. Your program is built specifically for YOUR body.

We begin with a 90-minute movement assessment, during which I observe how your body moves and identify patterns that may be contributing to discomfort or limitation. From there, I design your program based on what YOUR body needs—not a generic template.

That said, you'll likely see variations of fundamental movement patterns (squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, carry) because these are how humans are designed to move. However, the specific exercises, progressions, and focus areas are tailored to your unique health history, movement patterns, equipment, schedule, and goals.

As you progress, your program evolves. In the early months, we will focus more on alignment and foundational patterns. As your body adapts, we build strength and capacity. It changes as YOU change.

  • Your movement program will be sent via the PTMinder app (or email if you prefer to download it on your computer). Each program includes video demos of every exercise so you know exactly what to do.

I'll also email you any habit work, lifestyle strategies, or other health priorities we're focusing on that week.

Between programs, you'll receive weekly email check-ins where we discuss how things are going—not just workouts, but also sleep, stress, energy, and any other factors affecting your overall well-being.

  • You can track your program inside the PTMinder app—mark exercises as complete, log weights used, and add notes about how things felt. I can also see your progress in the app, which helps me adjust your next program.

If you prefer to receive your program via email, you can send me your workout log during our weekly email check-ins.

Important: Tracking is helpful but not mandatory. If you'd rather answer the weekly check-in questions without detailed logging, that's also acceptable. This isn't about 100% compliance—it's about finding what supports you best.

  • Life happens—you won't complete every session, and that's completely okay.

What matters is communication. If you're consistently struggling to fit sessions in, let me know. We'll adjust your program or schedule to match your reality. Sometimes that means shorter sessions, sometimes it means more walking and less structured work. The goal is building sustainable habits, not perfect compliance.

Safety note: If you skip multiple weeks without communication, we may need to adjust your progression upon your return. It's not safe to pick up where you left off if your body hasn't been doing the work to prepare for it.

The movement program is just one piece—the real value of coaching is the support, habit-building, and guidance that help you navigate life's ups and downs while staying connected to movement.

  • Most of the time, we'll practice new exercises together during our live sessions, so you'll know exactly how to do them before you're on your own. Occasionally, I might send you something new to try between sessions.

Every exercise includes a video demo for reference. If something doesn't feel right or you're unsure about form, text me Monday through Friday. I'll send you video feedback, suggest modifications, or provide alternative exercises that work better for your body.

You're never left guessing—if you have questions, I'm here.

  • I take planned breaks throughout the year for rest and travel (including the last two weeks of December). These become "integration weeks"—time for you to practice what you've learned independently and build confidence in your abilities.

    During integration weeks, you'll receive:

    • Movement guides and routines to keep you supported

    • Reflection prompts to assess your progress

    • Limited email support for questions

    • Continued access to all program materials

Integration weeks are built into your program timeline with no payment adjustments. You're still getting value—you're just practicing more independently, which is an integral part of the process.

  • It depends on the situation. I'm happy to communicate directly with your doctor, physical therapist, chiropractor, or other provider (with your permission) to ensure your program aligns with their recommendations and supports your recovery or specific needs.

If your case is outside my scope of practice, I'll be honest about that and refer you to a more appropriate professional. Your safety and progress are the priority.

  • We'll review your experience—what progress you've made, what's working, what your goals are moving forward—and discuss what makes the most sense for you.

    Options include:

    • Continuing month-to-month with the same level of support

    • Downgrading to a lower tier if you need less frequent live coaching

    • Taking a break and rejoining a future program launch

    • Flying solo with what you've learned

There's no pressure to continue. My goal is to teach you well enough that you CAN continue on your own if you choose. But if ongoing support is valuable to you, I'm here.

  • Each 4-month program includes two flexible weeks that you can use for vacation, work travel, illness, or personal time. You'll have continued access to the app and movement guides during your break. Your monthly rate remains unchanged during flexible weeks, allowing you to maintain access to all program resources and support.

For genuine emergencies (medical crises, family emergencies, or significant unexpected life events), I will work with you on a case-by-case basis to adjust your program timeline and payments as needed.

I don't issue refunds or discounts unless there's an error on my end. However, after your first month, we'll check in honestly to see if this is working. If it's not the right fit, we can part ways with 4 weeks' notice.
